How would you describe the work you do and why?
I’m interested and continually return to darkness in my work. I treat darkness not merely as a thematic element, but as a space for exploring profound grief, loss, and ultimately, redemption and hope.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
Frustration, joy, hope and fun.
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
I’m a mixed media predominantly oil painter, I like varied approaches, texture and layering to create rich surfaces to my work.

Painting, drawing, teaching locally.
